Ever since Ellen DeGeneres announced she was joining Simon Cowell in the great American Idol judging exodus, rumors have swirled over who her replacement will be. Harry Connick Jr.? Steven Tyler? Certainly not Jennifer Lopez, who last we heard was out of the running due to her over-the-top diva demands. Well, now it appears that the show's producers may have finally settled on a new judge. The winner of the American Idol sweepstakes is, uh, J-Lo? Yep, sources say -- again -- that Jennifer Lopez is reportedly "in the final stages of negotiations with American Idol" to become "the last critical link in the chain."
ELLEN POMPEO IS NOT 12-TOED?
Ellen Pompeo is putting her foot down over a growing Internet con-toe-versy, claiming a photo that surfaced recently -- which appears to show the actress with six toes on each foot -- is totally bogus. The photo in question seems to be an optical illusion because based on other photos Ellen only has five toes on each foot. In fact, one of the Executive Producers on Grey's Anatomy -- Shonda Rhimes -- tweeted, "Pompeo and I are still laughing. She says to tell everyone the rumors are wrong -- she has SEVEN toes on each foot!"
JERRY LEWIS TALKS LINDSAY LOHAN
Eight-four year old Jerry Lewis had some choice words for Lindsay Lohan during an interview with Inside Edition. Asked what he would do if he saw the fresh-out-of-jail and rehab Lohan, Lewis told the interviewer, "I would smack her in the mouth and be arrested for abusing a woman." When asked what he would then say to her, Lewis responded, "I would say, 'You deserve this and nothing else' ... WHACK! And then, if she's not satisfied, I'd put her over my knee and SPANK her."
PARIS EXPOSES HERSELF FOR A LIAR
Paris Hilton has been outed by herself. When she was detained by police for carrying cocaine in her purse, Paris claimed it wasn't hers. But a photo posted by the heiress herself has exposed her for a liar. She tweeted a photo of the Chanel purse on July 15, and it's the exact one she was carrying the night of the arrest. She event tweeted that day, "Love My New Chanel Purse I Got Today..." This pretty much messes with her defense, since she told the cops that the purse wasn't hers and claimed that she'd borrowed it from a friend because it matched her outfit.
IS JENNIFER ANISTON DATING LINDSAY LOHAN'S EX?
Jennifer Aniston has reportedly stooped to an all-time dating low.Our sources say that the 41-year-old actress recently went on a date with 29-year-oldHarry Morton -- best known for dating Lindsay Lohan. Yes, Jen is apparently getting Lindsay's sloppy seconds. Jen was recently seen flirting with over dinner, drinks and dessert is Morton, the founder of Pink Taco restaurant chains. Witnesses said Jen looked "a little nervous, putting her hair up in a loose bun and laughing at everything he said" over dinner.
PRESERVEING ZSA ZSA GABOR'S BODY AFTER DEATH
Creepy!! Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Frederic von Anhalt wants to preserve her body after she dies. He told the Bild newspaper earlier this week, "My wife has always dreamt that her beauty would be immortal. I would like to show the plastinated body of Zsa Zsa Gabor in the context of a scene in one of her films." Plans have apparently already been made for the procedure. Von Anhalt said that German anatomist Gunther von Hagens should do the work, as he's responsible for the Body Worlds exhibitions, which display plastinated bodies with just muscles and tendons intact.
T.I. AND WIFE ARRESTED
Grammy-winning rapperT.I., and his wife, Tameka Cottle, were arrested Wednesday night in West Hollywood on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines, five months after he finished a prison stint on weapons charges. Deputies smelled marijuana and pulled the couple over, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said. They were released from jail after posting $10,000 bail each.
SNOOP TO RETEAM WITH PERRY
Snoop Dogg is eager to reunite with Katy Perry in the studio, and has lined up the singer to appear on his next album. Katy teamed up with Snoop on her international hit of the summer California Gurls, which sat atop singles charts earlier this year. And the hip-hop superstar is looking forward to returning the favour by offering the brunette a cameo on his upcoming release. He says, "We're trying to get together and do something on my new album for my new record, so (I'm) definitely in contact with her.

Demi Moore is hot and she wants the world to know it. The 47-year-old actress shared some bikini photos of herself on Twitter just to remind everyone how sexy she is. The timing of the photos comes amid reports that husband Ashton Kutcher was caught cheating with a "mystery blonde." Ashton already debunked the rumors over Twitter, writing "I think Star magazine calling me a 'cheater' qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees." Another movie could be in the works for Justin Timberlake. Our source that says director Quentin Tarantino may want to cast Justin for a new movie. Our insider claims, "It's a kind of dark comedy, very much in the Tarrantino style. Justin is a new raw talent when it comes to acting but Quentin feels he could be ideal for the lead role. He's excited about taking a teen heartthrob and turning him into a cold-blooded killer." Timberlake, meanwhile, is busy filming the new comedy, Friends With Benefits, co-starring Mila Kunis.
WORK OUT TAPE AT 72!
Jane Fonda, 72, is springing back into her workout gear this fall to release two new DVDs designed for the generation that came of age feeling the burn from her first blockbuster workout tape, Jane Fonda’s Workout, debuted in 1982. “I’m very excited to be back in the fitness business,” Fonda told PEOPLE. “I know from experience and from my research how critical it is for boomers and seniors to be physically active. Even if they’ve never exercised in their lives, now’s the time and my programs are a good, safe way to do it.” The two titles, Jane Fonda: Prime Time Walkout and Jane Fonda: Prime Time Fit & Strong — both due out Nov. 30 — are not only for the senior set. Fonda says she also hopes to inspire “people who think that they are too far unfit to get fit again.”

Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, Sylvester Stallone was also approached about doing the show. He declined the offer, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the offer spurred an idea in his head for his own show. Dancing With The Former Action Stars? Who wouldn’t want to see Dolph Lundgren let loose on stage? DWTS was also rejected by Ann Coulter, Condoleeza Rice, the real Erin Brockovich, Richard Branson, Suzanne Somers, Kirstie Alley, and Joel McHale. We’re not really sure why Tim Allen and Drew Carey declined the offer as well.

LADY GAGA NEW SONG AND LOOKALIKE?
Lady Gaga previewed a new song, called "Living on the Radio," at Monday (August 30th) night's concert in St. Paul, Minnesota. It’s the second new song Gaga has debuted while on her Monster Ball tour this year. She performed the first one, "You And I," earlier this summer. Gaga plans to release her third album in early 2011. In other Gaga news a man from Bulgaria apparently loves Lady Gaga so much that he's reportedly getting a full sex change operation and cosmetic surgery too look just like her. Penio Daskalov, , says, "I really admire the way she has created herself, so when I've had my operations I won't be quite a man or quite a woman."

People magazine was so confident their Elin Nordegren issue would be a big seller that they raised the price and printed more copies which they haven't done since the debut of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins back in August 2008! Early numbers show that Elin sold around 2 million copies, way up from its average of 1.4 million, yet not quite the 2.5 million Angelina sold." But the Elin issue was ultimately more profitable because she opened up to the mag for free whereas Ange and Brad got paid $12 million! A friend of Elin's says: "This wasn't about the money for Elin. It was about telling her story once and for all. She will be happy that so many people bought the issue and finally read the truth. But now she hopes they all go away and leave her and her family alone.
MICHAEL DOUGLAS BATTLES CANCER
Michael Douglas was diagnosed with throat cancer three weeks ago after complaining of a sore throat at the beginning of the summer. He appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" yesterday in good spirits. Michael has completed the first of eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy to beat the illness, which he admitted "knocks you out really hard." He His cancer was diagnosed as being stage four, Michael remains optimistic about making a recovery. He said, "Percentages are very good…it looks like it should be about 80%." After his eight weeks of treatment are completed, his case will be reevaluated to determine if surgery is necessary.
MAKING THEIR BOSSES MONEY
For the second straight year, Shia LaBeouf is the actor offering the biggest bang for the buck, according to a Forbes list released Monday. Forbes calculated that for every $1 LaBeouf was paid, the movie in which he appeared earned $81 in profit. He can thank blockbusters like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," good for $787 million worldwide, and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," which brought in $836 million worldwide. Anne Hathaway landed in second place thanks to the $1 billion that "Alice in Wonderland". Rounding out the Top 5 were Daniel Radcliffe ($61 in profit for each $1 paid), Robert Downey Jr. ($33) and Cate Blanchett ($27).

The creator of Sex and the City is currently shopping around his new, bound-to-be-controversial dramedy television series Good Christian Bitches. It’s not so much him shopping it around, as it is networks trying to purchase it from him. Looks like ABC, NBC, and CBS are all after his show! The project is based on a book by author Kim Gatlin, and the pilot is being referred to as Desperate Housewives in Dallas. The story revolves around Amanda Vaughn, a recent divorcee who moves with her children to Dallas and gets involved in the wonderful world of botox, gossip, and fraud.
EDMONTON P-Oed AT GAGA
LADY GAGA has pissed off officials in Edmonton, Canada after she posted a picture of a defaced city slogan on the internet. She spotted the sign while her crew was setting up at the Rexall Place venue for her show on Friday. The sign, an homage to Edmonton's reputation as the 'Oil Capital of Canada', was supposed to read, "Oil Country" but the second 'o' had been removed as workers placed spotlights around the hall. Gaga posted the image with the caption "Holy mother of laughter", but Edmonton's mayor Stephen Mandel didn't find the joke funny and slammed the star for being so crude. He says, "Some things are disgusting and you shouldn't have to say they're disgusting. I think it demeans them more than anything else."

Glee stars Lee Michelle and Cory Montieth deny reports they were going to sue the show for lack of royalties paid to them for various CDs made with the show’s cast members. Both stars are now stating they have been payed proper royalties and are happy with the arrangements.
TAYLOR LAUTNER CHALLENGED TO PUSH-UPS CONTEST
Twilight star Taylor Lautner has been challenged to a push-ups contest by Brent McMahon, the owner of McMahon RV in Los Angeles, after Lautner filed suit against the dealership for failing to deliver an RV that was up to his standards for use as a dressing room. McMahon claims if Lautner wins the contest, he would donate the money to children's charities, but if Lautner declines the challenge, he would fight him in court.
PARIS HILTON UPDATE
Paris Hilton is expected to be charged with drug possession, a felony, after being caught with cocaine over the weekend. She contends the drugs weren't hers. If convicted, she could face up to four years in prison and a $5,000 fine.Paris Hilton told cops she thought the cocaine allegedly found in her handbag during a search at the weekend was gum. The celebrinot was taken into custody in Las Vegas on Friday after a car she was traveling in was pulled over by cops and searched. The officers found a suspicious-looking white powder in her purse.
JESSIE AND KAT TOGETHER ?
Photos don’t lie and they surfaced of Jessie James and Kat Von D have surfaced and the two confirm they are a couple. They were spotted in Texas over the weekend, which is near Austin and the home of Sandra Bullock and the three children she shares with James.

The Dancing With the Stars cast for season 11 was announced Monday evening.
