PART-TIME BRAND AMBASSADOR

Stingray Radio Sudbury is seeking the next promotions superstar! As a seasonal part-time Brand Ambassador, you will represent Hot 93-5 at various events, concerts, festivals, sales remotes, and trade shows. 

Reporting to the Promotions Coordinator, team members will be motivated, responsible, and energetic, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be the face of our station as you facilitate events and promotions, which includes driving station cruisers, setting up and tearing down equipment, engaging large crowds, handing out giveaways, and creating social media content. 

Your day-to-day 

• Execute exciting on-site activations, including managing promotional tents, banners, and interactive displays. 

• Act as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador for Hot 93-5 and our sister station Rewind 103.9 by actively engaging with listeners and clients. 

• Create compelling, on-the-fly content for all social media platforms. 

• Engaging with large crowds at events, hyping people up, setting up and tearing down equipment, and hosting contests.

• Collaborate with the promotions team to develop and execute a best-in-class street-level presence. 

• Oversee all technical aspects of on-site appearances, including broadcast equipment for remotes and live-to-airs. 

• Provide detailed event-wrap reports and contribute ideas for future promotions. 

Qualifications:

• A valid Ontario G Class driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
• Flexible availability  (including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays). 
• Graphic and video design skills an asset (Photoshop, Canva, iMovie, Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge and passion of music from the 70s80s90s/ todays hits is considered an asset.
• Detail oriented: attention to detail is essential!
• Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
• Highly energetic, outgoing and eager to interact with listeners and non-listeners to generate excitement at events.
• Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and passion to win.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
• Must be willing get your hands dirty and handle occasional heavy lifting, while treating equipment with respect and care.
• Understand the importance of representing our Hot 93-5 / Rewind 103.9 brands in a professional manner at all events.
